1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of X Marketplace, a local commerce platform promoted by the Vila Franca de Xira Municipality, connecting consumers with participating local merchants and establishments.
2. Role of the platform
X Marketplace acts as a technological intermediary. Sale contracts are concluded directly between the consumer and the merchant, who is responsible for the products, prices, invoicing and compliance with legal obligations.
3. Accounts and use
Users are responsible for the accuracy of the data provided and for the confidentiality of their credentials. Any unlawful or fraudulent use, or use that harms third parties or the platform, is prohibited.
4. Orders and payments
Prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed by authorised payment service providers. An order is only confirmed after the payment has been validated.
5. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes not resolved amicably may be submitted to the competent alternative consumer dispute resolution bodies.
